Vivo has silently introduced its new sub-brand iQOO. Company has started posting promotional images at Weibo, thus showcasing its new sub-brand.
Additionally, official Weibo handle of iQOO has also made its way online with initial post saying “Hello, this is iQOO” (translated). Both VIVO nor iQOO has revealed and further details.
Making a sub-brand has become a trend for smartphone makers lately. Wei have already seen Huawei which has subrand Honor, Xiaomi which has Redmi and Poco, OPPO with Realme and ZTE whos sub brand is Nubia. Vivo’s iQOO comes as no surprise.
Rumors suggest that iQOO might jump in to market with flagship smartphones, however, this hasn’t been confirmed. Gaming phone is also a possibility. We will update with more details as the story builds up so till then, stay tuned.
