VIVO V9 with 6.3-inch display, 24MP selfie camera announced

Chinese company VIVO has just announced VIVO V9, company’s latest smartphone in Thailand. It has 6.3-inch in-cell IPS 2.5D curved glass multi-touch display with 2280 x 1080 pixels FHD+ resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. It has 90% screen-to-body ratio with 1.75mm narrow bezels.
The device measures 154.81 x 75.03 x 7.89 mm and weighs about 150 grams. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo based FunTouch OS 4.0. The device comes with  dual SIM slots and support 4G VoLTE.
The VIVO V9 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 Mobile Platform with Adreno 506 GPU. The chipset is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memor, which is further expandable up to 256GB usimg MicroSD card.

The cellphone features in rear mounted fingerprint sensor. At the front is an iPhone X like notch which houses 24MP selfie camera. The shooter has F/2.0 aperture, supports face unlock, AR stickers, portrait mode and Face beauty.

At the back side is 16MP + 5MP dual rear cameras with LED flash and F/2.0 aperture. It can even take several iOS like effects like Natural light, Monochrome background, stereo light etc.

There is a 3260 mAh typical battery that powers the hardware. Most of connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5Ghz), Bluetooth V4.2, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, USB 2.0 et c are supported as well.

The VIVO V9 price is set at 10,999 Thai Baht (US$ 350 / Rs. 22,900 approx.) and will be up for pre-order in Thailand from March 29th. It will go on sale next day on March 30th. The handset will land in Philippines on Thursday and come to India tomorrow.
