VIVO Watch 2 with eSIM for calling, LTE announced

VIVO along with S12 and S12 Pro smartphones, has also unveiled its latest smartwatch called VIVO Watch 2.

It is priced at 1299 Yuan (Rs. 15,400 approx.) and comes in White, Black and Silver colors. It has flexible rubber strap that are skin friendly. There is an option for breathable fine Nappa leather watch band as well.

The wearable will go on sale in China from December 29th.

VIVO Watch 2 – Key specifications and features

The wearable measures 46.4 x 46.4 x 10.95 mm and weighs just about 47 grams. It comes with 5ATM water resistant rating and can easily survive in water depths of up to 50 meters.

The vivo Watch 2 specs include 1.43-inch AMOLED AOD touch display that offers 466 x 466 pixels resolution and 326ppi pixel density. The smartwatch houses ST main processor along with a second Apollo low-power chipset.

The smartwatch has 2GB built-in storage space which allows users to store music locally. VIVO has included a speaker and Microphone for voice calling. For this, it has an e-SIM support that supports 3G / 4G LTE.

The vivo Watch 2 features in Bluetooth V5.2 LE that offers best connectivity with smartphones. It has built-in GPS/GLONASS/Galileo/Beidou positioning support. It has NFC as well.

This vivo watch comes with optical heart rate sensor to track heart beats and related anomalies. It includes blood oxygen sensor for SpO2 monitoring.

Other sensors included Altitude sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, air pressure, ambient light and geomagnetic sensors. The battery inside this watch gives up to 7 days of usage using eSIM. With only Bluetooth, the battery life is extended up to 14 days.

The vivo Watch 2 comes with 47 sports modes like indoor / outdoor walking / running / cycling, mountain climbing, pool swimming, elliptical machine, HIIT, free training, trail running etc.

This new vivo Watch supports Jovi voice assistant, NetEase Cloud Music, Himalaya and several other online services. It has one-key call SOS emergency contact feature as well.
