VIVO Watch with 5ATM rating, AMOLED screen launched

VIVO has officially unveiled its latest smartwatch called VIVO Watch. It comes in 42mm and 46mm options.

Regardless of the variants, VIVO Watch comes with 5ATM water resistant rating, which allows it to survive in 50 meter water depth for up to 10 minutes.

The VIVO Watch 42mm measures 42 x 42 x 9.7 mm and weighs about 35.6 grams (without strap). It has a smaller 1.1-inch AMOLED display with 390 x 390 pixels resolution and 326ppi pixel density. It is powered by 226mAh (typ) / 218mAh (min) battery which offers about 9 days of usage.

The VIVO Watch 46mm has dimensions of 46 x 46 x 10.6 mm and has weight of 46.8 grams (without strap). It has a larger 1.39-inch AMOLED screen with 454 x 454 pixels resolution and 326ppi pixel density. Powering its hardware is a 478mAh (typ) / 458mAh (min) battery. It is said to deliver up to 18 days of usage time.

The VIVO Watch features in ST main processor and Apollo Low-power processor. It has 2GB built-in storage for local music playback. The smartwatch uses Bluetooth V5.0 LE to connect with smartphones. There is NFC for wireless payments and GPS/GLONASS/GALILEO/Beidou for positioning.

Botch variants of smartwatch come with Optical Heart rate sensor, Blood Oxygen sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Air pressure and altitude sensor, ambient light and geomagnetic sensors.

These also offer 11 different sports mode which includes outdoor running, indoor running, outdoor walking, pool swimming, outdoor / indoor cycling, trail running, mountain climbing, HIIT, free training and Trail running.

The VIVO Watch price is set at $1299 (US$ 190 / Rs. 14,080 approx.) and will start selling in China from September 28th.

The 42mm Vivo Watch comes in option of Dark Gray case + Orange leather strap and Brown case + Brown leather strap. The 46mm Vivo Wach is offered in light gray case + drak brown leather strap and black case + black rubber strap.
