VIVO Y10 and Y10 (T1 Edition) silently unveiled in China

Two new smartphones from VIVO named Y10 and Y10 (T1 Edition) have silently launched in China. Both of them are same with latter having a different chipset.

The VIVO Y10 comes with model number V2140A. It houses an octa-core (2.3GHz x 4 + 1.8GHz x 4) 64-bit 12nM MediaTek Helio P35 processor with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The VIVO Y10 (T1 Edition) sports an octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 processor with ARM Mali-G72 GPU.

The Y10 measures 163.96 x 75.20 x 8.28 mm and weighs about 179 grams. Both of these offer dual SIM connectivity with Dual 4G VoLTE. They booth with Android 11 based OriginOS 1.0 out of the box.

For biometrics, these mobiles have side mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock support. They come in single 4GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB eMMC 5.1 storage space. They have microSD card support up to 1TB.

The VIVO Y10 and Y10 (T1 Edition) specs include 6.51-inch multi-touch LCD display with 60Hz refresh rate, 1600 x 720 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 1500:1 contrast ratio and 89% screen-to-body ratio.

These cell phones include an 8MP front camera with F/2.0 Aperture and 2X digital zoom support. At the back side are dual cameras consisting of 13MP (main, F/2.2, 4x digital zoom) and 2MP (depth, F/2.4) sensors and LED Flash.

The VIVO Y10 / Y10 T1 Edition come with 5000mAh (typical) / 4910mAh (minimum) battery capacity and supports 10W charging. The Y10 battery is rated to deliver up to 22.78 hours of VoLTE talk time or 39 days of 4G standby.

Connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and 3.5mm audio jack are present. These include Gravity, Light, Proximity sensors and e-Compass.

Price and Availability

The VIVO Y10 and VIVO Y10 (T1 Edition) are priced at 1099 Yuan ($173 approx.). They come in Glacier Blue and Moonlight Night colors. The T1 Edition is already available in China while the vanilla T1 is yet to get a sale date.
