VIVO Y12G is out in India with Snapdragon 439 SoC

VIVO has officially launched its new Y Series smartphone in India called VIVO Y12G. It is powered by Android 11 based Funtouch OS 11 out of the box.

The smartphone measures 164.41 x 76.32 x 8.4 mm and weighs 191 grams. It has Dual Nano SIM slots with dual Standby and supports dual 4G VoLTE. The cell phones with a side mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock support for biometrics.

The VIVO Y12G specs include 6.51-inch IPS LCD display offering 1600 x 720 pixels resolution at 20:9 aspect ratio and supports multi-touch. Under the hood is octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 mobile platform with Adreno 505 GPU.

It has multi-turo 3.0 which optimizes core scenes to reduce stuttering and lag in games. It allocates and prioritize CPU and internal storage resources. to enhance performance. The cellphone includes several sensors like Accelerometer, Ambient Light, Proximity, Gyroscope and e-Compass.

The SoC is paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage space, which is further expandable using MicroSD card. Featuring at the front side is an 8MP selfie camera with F/1.8 Aperture. At the back side are triple cameras making up of 13MP (Main, F/2.2) + 2MP (depth, F/2.4) + 2MP (F/2.4) shooters and LED Flash.

The VIVO Y12G features a 5000mAh (typ) / 4910mAh (min) battery and supports AI power saving technology. It has 5W reverse charging support as well. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Hotspot, Bluetooth V5.0, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS/GLONASS/beidou/Galileo and 3.5mm audio jack.

The VIVO Y12G price in India is set at Rs. 10,990 and comes in Phantom Black and Glacier Blue shades. It is already up for order in India. [source]
