VIVO launches a new Y Series entry level smartphone (with decent specs) in India called VIVO Y15c. It comes in Mystic Blue and Wave Green colors. Pricing and availability details were not detailed.

The smartphone measures 163.96 x 75.2 x 8.28 mm and weighs 179 grams. It has a plastic build and houses a fingerprint sensor at side which securely unlock cell phone in 0.232 seconds. It has a dedicated dual Nano SIM slots for dual 4G VoLTE.

The VIVO Y15c feature a 6.51-inch IPS LCD display that gives 1600 x 720 pixels resolution at 20:9 aspect ratio. Powering its heart is an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor paired with 3GB RAM. It has 32GB / 64GB storage options and houses a microSD card slot for further storage expansion.

The Y15c comes with an 8MP front camera with F/2.0 Aperture and supports Face Wake Instant facial recogntion. At the back side is a combination of 13MP (man, F/2.2) and 2MP (macro, F/2.4) cameras along with LED Flash.

The mobile comes pre-installed with Android 12 based Funtouch OS 12. It has a 5000mAH (typical) battery and allows 10W charging. It is claimed to offer up to 18.74 hours of online HD movie streaming, or 7.89 hours of intensive gameplay.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5gHz), Bluetooth V5.0, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS, FM Radio and 3.5mm audio jack. It has array of sensors like Accelerometer, Ambient Light, Proximity, e-Compass and Gyroscope. [source]
