A new VIVO Y series smartphone has been made official in Indonesia. It is called VIVO Y22.
The VIVO Y22 specs include 6.55-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution at 20.1:9 aspect ratio. It has 89.67% screen-to-body ratio as well.
The smartphone comes with IPX4 and IP5X water and dust resistant rating. It has side facing fingerprint sensor that securely unlocks mobile in about 0.24 seconds.
The VIVO Y22 feature in octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 processor with MediaTek HyperEngine. The cell phone has 4GB/6GB RAM options and allows 1GB/2GB RAM extension. There are 64GB/128GB storage options with MicroSD card support up to 1TB.
Other specs of VIVO Y22 include 50MP main and 2MP macro cameras at back with LED Flash. At the front side is an 8MP selfie shooter. There is a large 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging (0 to 30% in 15 minutes). It has VIVO Energy Guardian (VEG) and AI power Saving Mode as well.

The VIVO Y22 is priced at Rp 2,399,000 for 4GB/64GB model which converts to roughly $161. Company has yet to reveal price of 6GB/128GB model.
The VIVO Y22 comes in Starlite Blue, Metaverse Green and Summer Cyan colors. It will go on sale in Indonesia soon.
