VIVO has officially launched a new Y Series smartphone in Vietnam called VIVO Y53s 4G. The handset comes just after Snapdragon 480 powered Y53s 5G which was announced back in June.
The 4G variant of VIVO Y53s has dimensions of 164 x 75.46 x 8.38 mm and weighs about 190 grams. It has a side facing fingerprint sensor and is powered by Android 11 based Funtouch OS 11.1.
The VIVO Y53s 4G offers dual SIM connectivity with Dual Standby and supports dual 4G VoLTE. It has 6.58-inch LCD multi-touch display with 2408 x 1080 pixels resolution and supports highly saturated P3 color gamut.
The 4G model of Y53s feature octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 processor with ARM Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. It is paired with 8GB RAM (+3GB using extended RAM technology) and 128GB built-in storage space, which is further expandable up to 1TB using dedicated microSD card slot.
It has Multi-Turbo 5.0 which is focused on optimizing in-game scenes to reduce lag. It also allocates and prioritize CPU and memory resources for smoothness inside games. There is a dedicated Super Game mode to further enhance performance and customize sound effects.
The smartphone houses 16MP front facing camera with F/2.0 Aperture. At the back side includes 64MP (main, F/1.79, EIS) + 2MP (depth, F/2.4) + 2MP (macro, F/2.4) cameras with LED Flash.
The 4G VIVO Y53s specs includes 5000mAh battery and supports 33W Super Speed Charge technology. It is claimed to charge cellphone up to 70% in just 41 minutes. It also includes AI Energy Saving technology and is said to offer up to 14.3 hours of HD movies online or 7.05 hours of gaming.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, USB type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou/Galileo and 3.5mm audio jack. There are array of sensors like Gravity, Light, Proximity, e-compass and Gyroscope.
The VIVO Y53s 4G variant is priced at VND 6,990,000 ($303 / Rs. 22,700 approx.) and comes in Black Blue and Blue Purple colors. [source]
