VIVO has silently launched a new Y Series smartphone in China called VIVO Y72t. The handset seems to be a rebranded version of VIVO Y55s 5G that went official in China last year.
The handset sports a 6.58-inch LCD display offering FHD+ resolution, 60Hz refresh rate and 90.62% screen-to-body ratio. A fingerprint sensor is placed at side while its 8MP front camera supports face unlocking. At the back is a combo of 50MP and 2MP cameras.
The VIVO Y72t specs include octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM. It has 128GB / 256GB storage options. The handset includes a huge 6000mAh battery capacity. It has support for 18W fast charging as well.
The cell phone supports 5G / dual 4G VoLTE with its Nano Slots. It runs on Android 11 based Origin OS 1.0 out of the box.
