The VIVO Z5 smartphone is finally official. It is a mid-range phone with in-display fingerprint sensor.
The mobile runs on Android 9.0 Pie based Funtouch OS 9.1. It comes with Dual SIM slots and supports dual 4G VoLTE.
The phone measures 159.53 x 75.23 x 8.13 mm and has weight of 187 grams. It has 4500 mAh (typical) / 4420 mAh (minimum) battery and supports 22.5W fast charging as well.
The VIVO Z5 specifications include 6.38-inch multi-touch Super AMOLED display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 60000:1 contrast ratio and 103% NTSC color gamut.
Inside is an octa-core (2.3GHz Kryo 360 x 2 + 1.7GHz Kryo 360 x 6) Snapdragon 712 Mobile Platform with Adreno 616 GPU. It has 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB / 128GB / 256GB storage options. Premium Vivo Z5 variant has 8GB RAM (LPDDR4X) with 128GB of ROM. Their storage is non-expandable.
The VIVO Z5 Pro features in 48MP (1/2″ Sensor, F/1.79 Aperture, 0.8um pixels) + 8MP (120-degree ultra-wide-angle lens, F/2.2) + 2MP (Depth, F/2.4 Aperture) triple camera setup with LED Flash. For selfies, it has 32MP front camera with F/2.0 Aperture.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS and 3.5mm audio jack.

The VIVO Z5 comes in Aurora Blue, Blue and Black colors. It will up for order in China from August 1st and will start selling from August 6th.
