Cyanogen ROMs are the most sort out custom Android ROM’s. Wileyfox has introduced three smartphones running on Cyanogen OS namely Spark, Spark X and Spark+.
The Wileyfox Spark is priced at £89.99/€119.99, is up for pre-order and will ship from July 12. The Spark X has price-tag of £114.99/€149.99 and is expected in early August. The Spark+ costs £129.99/€169.99 and will go on sale later this month. All the phones come in Sandstone Black and White colour options.
Wileyfox Spark
The Wileyfox Spark is the basic variant. It features a 5-inch full lamination IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution, 294ppi pixel density and Dragontrail glass protection.
It has 1.3GHz quad core MediaTek MT6735A processor with Mali-T720 GPU. The phone has 1GB RAM, 32GB Storage (expandable) and comes with 2200 Li-Po removable battery.
The phone has measurements of 143 x 70.4 x 8.65 mm, weighs 134.5 grams and houses dual SIM slots that support 4G LTE. It has 8MP front fixed focus camera and 8MP primary snapper on the back with LED Flash, CMOS sensor and Auto Focus.
The smartphone supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.0, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS/A-GPS, FM radio, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc. It also has G-Sensor, Proximity sensor, Ambient light and e-Compass.
Wileyfox Spark X
The phone measures 154.35 x 78.6 x 8.75 mm, weighs 162.9 grams and comes with Dual Micro SIM slots. It runs on Cyanogen 13 OS based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Spark X specs include 5.5-Inch IPS Full Lamination display with 720p resolution. It has 267ppi pixel density, Dragontrail grass protection and supports smart gestures as well.
The mobile has 8MP selfie camera and 13MP auto focus camera on the back that records 1080p videos. Under the hood is 1.3GHz Quad Core MediaTek MT6735 processor with ARM Mali-T720 GPU. It has 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage ROM (11.29GB user available) and houses MicroSD card for further expansion.
The hardware is fueled by 3000 mAh Li-Po removable battery. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth v4.1, MicroUSB v2.0, GPS/A-GPS, FM radio, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc. The phone also houses Proximity, Ambient light and G-Sensor inside.
Wileyfox Spark +
This is a Dual SIM smartphone with 4G LTE support. It runs on Android 6.0 based Cyanogen 13. It has dimensions of 143 x 70.4 x 8.65 mm and weighs 134.5 grams.
The Spark+ specs include 5-Inch IPS Full lamination HD Display with 294 ppi pixel density. It has 5-point multi-touch and comes with Dragontrail glass protection for added durability.
Under the hood is 1.3GHz Quad Core MT6735A processor with Mali-T720 GPU. It has 2GB RAM, 32GB expandable storage and houses 2200 mAh removable battery inside.
The main camera on the back is of 13MP coupled with LED flash. It supports Auto Focus and 1080p video recording. There is an 8MP fixed focus CMOS camera on the front as well.
