Withings Pulse HR Fitness tracker announced

Withings has unveiled its latest fitness tracker called Pulse HR. It has 315L stainless steel casing, Hardened polycarbonate top case, Anodised aluminum hinges and changeable silicone wristband straps (fits wrist up to 20mm).
The tracker has dimensions of 18.16 x 10.45 x 44.4 mm (Width x Thickness x Height) and weighs about 45 grams.  It has an OLED display which helps one see notifications from your smartphone, time, date, steps taken, alarm settings  etc.
It has Photoplethysmography (PPG) hear rate sensor which helps one keep track of heart beats. There is a special workout mode which displays timer and continuous heart rate. Apart from that, the tracker houses High precision MEMS 3-axis accelerometer and light sensor.
The fitness band is also water resistant up to 50 meters. The Withings Puse HR fitness tracker can also recognize more than 10 activities like walking, running, swimming etc. It can also track calories burned or distance.
The battery inside can last up to 20 days on single charge on normal use. If you prefer workout mode, the battery should lase you about 5 days. Company claims that battery charges to up to 80% in 1 hours and 100% in 2 hours.

The Pulse HR is compatible with most iPhones, iPads or iPod touch running on iOS 10 or later. It also works with Smartphones / tables running on Android 6.0 or later. It connects using Bluetooth Low Energy.
The Withings Pulse HR is priced at US$ 129.95 (rs. 9360 approx.) and is already up for pre-orders through company’s official site, Amazon.com. It will ship for December 5th.
