Xiaomi has officially announced its latest Xiaomi 11i series smartphones in India. The lineup includes vanilla Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge 5G mobiles. They come in Camo Green, Stealth Black, Purple Mist and Pacific Pearl colors.

Both of these mobile phones come with flat-edge design and sports frosted AG glass back. They measure 163.65 x 76.19 x 8.34mm and weigh about 207 grams (Xiaomi 11i 5G) / 204 grams (Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge 5G).
Both Xiaomi phones houses hybrid dual Nano SIM slots and support 5G (SA/NSA bands N1, N3, N5, N8, N28, N40, N77, N78) and Dual 4G VoLTE. They come with IP53 water resistant rating and includes a side mounted fingerprint sensor.
The Xiaomi 11i 5G / Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge 5G feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate and up to 360Hz touch sampling rate.
Their screen delivers 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution at 20:9 aspect ratio, 395ppi pixel density, 700nits (global) / 1200nits (peak) brightness and DCI-P3 colors.
Both of these screen have 360° light perception, Reading Mode and sports SGS Eye Protection Certification. Their display houses Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection for added scratch resistance. The Xiaomi 11i Series boasts 1.76mm slim bezels for better screen-to-body ratio.
The Xiaomi 11i 5G and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge 5G boats a 2.96mm punch hole that houses a 16MP front facing camera with F/2.45 Aperture lens, 1.0um pixel size and screen flash..
At the back side is a combination of triple cameras and LED Flash. These include 108MP (main, 1/1.52″ Samsung HM2 sensor, F/1.89, 6P lens, Dual Native ISO, 9-in-1 pixel binning at 2.1um), 8MP (120-degree ultra-wide, F/2.2) and 2MP (macro, F/2.4. 1.75um pixel size) lenses.
Camera on Xiaomi 11i series can record 4K video at 30fps, 1080p video at 30/60fps, 1080p slow motion at 120fps and 720p slow motion at 120/240/960fps.
These cell phones feature in octa-core (2.5GHz A78 x 2 + 2GHz A55 x 6) MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor with Mali-G68 MC4 GPU. They have 6GB/8GB LPDDR4X RAM (+3GB virtual RAM) options with 128GB UFS 2.2 storage space. These get support for microSD card up to 1TB as well.
To keep thermals in check, 11i 5G and 11i HyperCharge come with VC liquid cooling system that offers 12600 mm² heat dissipation. Xiaomi has included dual Super Linear speakers in both mobiles. They support Hi-Res audio and Dolby Atmos sound. A 3.5mm audio jack is present in both of them.
The Xiaomi 11i specs include a large 5160mAh (typical) battery and brings support for 67W fast charging. The Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge feature a dual-cell 4500mAh battery that includes graphene, dual charge pump, MTW Technology and MI-FC Tech. The latter has 120W fast charging and can go from 0 to 100% in just 15 minutes. Xiaomi has included this fast charger inside the box.
They Xiaomi 11i Hyper Charge 5G model has gone through 34 safety checks and has received TUV Rheinland Safe Fast-Charge system certification, double overcharge protection. It has 9 real-time temperature monitoring system.
In terms of connectivity, there support Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.2, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and NFC. They run on Android 11 based MIUI 12.5.
