If you think that mobiles are the only thing getting smarter, than you are wrong. Xiaomi’s Mijia brand has announced smart shoes called 90 Minutes Ultra Smart Sportswear. (Yes, that’s the official name).
The smart foot wear is aimed at professional athletes and is developed in China by Shanghai Runmi Technology Co. Ltd. The 90 Minutes Ultra Smart Shoes has foam like material on the body. It’s sole is anti-skid and designed with arch support balance sheet. It has antibacterial removable insole as well.
So, What makes 90 Minutes Ultra Smart Sports Footwear so intelligent?. It has an Intel Chip, a button sized Curie module. It can detect movements and store different data like speed, distance covered or calories burned. The Intel Curie module stays charged up to 60 days.
The 90 Minutes Ultra Smart Shoes carries price tag of 299 Yuan (US$ 44 / €41). It comes in Black and Surf Blue colors for men and Black and Pink colors for Women. There is a special Blue Edition of the smart shoes that glows in the dark. It is already up for funding on Mi Home and will ship on April 15th, 2017.
