Xiaomi’s first ever 2-in-1 laptop called Book S 12.4″ is finally official in European markets. It is priced at €699 (US$ 734 / Rs. 57,405 approx.) and comes in Dark Grey color.
Xiaomi is selling its keyboard separately that uses pogo pin connector. The Keyboard’s outer shell is made up for faux leather material and is scratch resistant. It has 1.3mm key travel provides added comfort and consistency.
Another thing sold separately is its cover which has a magnetic case for sturdiness and stability. With this, device automatically wakes up when opened and sleeps when closed.
Xiaomi Book S 12.4″ specs
The 2-in-1 Xiaomi Book S 12.4-inch has dimensions of 294 x 197 x 8.95 mm and weighs 720 grams. It device runs on Windows 11 OS with S Mode. There are dual speakers.
It has a 12.35-inch LCD touch screen that offers 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio, 60Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 colors and up to 500nits brightness. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection for added durability.
The Xiaomi Book S 12.4″ feature in 2.84GHz Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 Compute Platform with Adreno 680 GPU. It has 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 256GB storage space.
It has 5MP front facing camera while at the back side is a 13MP shooter. The battery inside Book S 12.4″ delivers 13.4 hours of battery life. It comes with a 65W GaN fast charger.
For connectivity, it has support for Wi-Fi 5, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.1 and 3.5mm audio jack.
