Xiaomi launches Mi Notebook Air laptops running on Windows 10

Xiaomi has announced its latest Windows 10 Laptops called the Mi Notebook Air. Company announced its 12.5-Inch and 13.3-inch models along with Redmi Pro at an even in China.
Notably, these are the first Windows 10 laptops from the company. They have full-sized backlit keyboard with 1.3mm key travel, 3nits brightess and glass trackpad. It also allows multi finger gestures, , precise cursor control, scrolling program switching, zooming etc.

Xiaomi Mi Notebook 12.5″

The laptop has dimensions of 292 x 202 x 12.9 mm and weighs 1.07kg. It hs 37Wh battery inside that offers up to 11.5 hours of battery life.
It packs in a 12.5-Inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, 300nits brightness, 600:1 contrast ratio, 50% NTSC color gamut and sports 170-degree wide viewing angles.
Under the hood is 2.2GHz Intel Core M3 6730 processor with 4M cache and Intel HD Graphics 515. It has 4GB LPDDR3 (1866Mhz) RAM, 128GB SATA SSD and an additional SSD slot for expansion.
A 1MP HD web-camera sits on the front and includes digital array microphone as well. The laptop is also equipped with Realtek ALC233, AKG customized dual 1W speakers and supports Dolby audio.
In terms of connectivity, it has USB 3.0 x 1, HDMI, USB Type-C, Wi-Fi 802.11ac 2×2, Dual Band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) and Bluetooth V4.1.

Xiaomi Mi Notebook 13.3″

It is a slightly powerful model with 2.7GHz Intel Core i5 6200U processor, 3M cache and comes bundled with NVIDIA Geforce GT940MX (1GB DDR5). It has 8GB DDR4 RAM (2133MHz), 256GB PCIe x 4 NVMe SSD and houses additional SSD expansion slot.
The Mi Notebook features 13.3-Inch display with 1080p full HD resolution, 16:9 contrast ratio, 300 nits brightness, 800:1 contrast ratio, 72% NTSC color gamut and 170 degree viewing angles.
The laptop houses 40WH battery that lasts up to 9.5 hours. It fits into device measurements of 309.6 x 210.9 x 14.8 mm, with total weight of about 1.28kg. It runs on Windows 10 OS, houses 1MP HD webcam, digital array mic, Realtek ALC255, AKG customized 2W speakers and Dolby audio.
Connectivity options are more or less the same, with only difference being two USB 3.0 ports instead of one.

The Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 1.5-Inch variant is priced at 3499 Yuan (US$ 524) while the 13.5-Inch model has price-tag of 4999 Yuan (US$ 749). It comes in Silver and Gold color options and will be available in China from August 2, 2016.
