Xiaomi launches MI TV ES50 2022 in China

XIAOMI has officially unveiled its new MI TV ES50 2022 smart TV model in China. It is already up for order the country and is priced at 2399 Yuan ($376 / Rs. 28,370 approx.)

This smart TV from Xiaomi runs on MIUI for TV 3.0. It has PatchWall AI that curates content according to users patterns.

The Mi TV ES50 2022 feature a 50-inch display and supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision. Its screen offers 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution, 178-degree wide viewing angles, 94% DCI-P3 colors and up to 600nits of brightness (4096-leves of brightness control).

This particular model supports MEMC, ALLM and achieves professional display color accuracy of △E≈2. It has multi-toe back lighting and offers 1.07-billion colors. The model boasts an impressive 96% screen-to-body ratio thanks to its minimalist bezel design.

Xiaomi has included AI-SR image algorithm that leverages AI computing capability of TV chip along with Super Resolution algorithm for real-time analysis of pictures. Because of the tech, it can improve definition, lower resolutions and reduces noise.

The Xiaomi Mi TV ES50 (2022) specs include 1.5GHz (up-to) quad-core MediaTek MT9638 processor with ARM Mali-G52 MC1 GPU. It includes dedicated MediaTek APU as well.

Paired with the chipset is 2GB RAM and 32GB storage space. The MI TV can easily handle 4K video playback and supports several codecs like H.265 / H.264 / MPEG1/2/4 / Real etc.

Xiaomi has added Far-field microphones that allow voice control. The MI ES50 TV (2022) model feature two 12.5W (25W total) speaker. The left and right channel makes up of four speaker sounding units with independent tweeter, woofer and two air ducts. To further enhance audio, the TV supports Dolby Audio, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD.

In terms of connectivity, there is support for Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0 LE, S/PDIF, Ethernet, two USB ports and three HDMI (1 with ARC).
