Xiaomi’s Redmi brand has officially launched its latest Redmi Note 10S smartphone in India. The phone has IP53 rating for water resistance.
It also comes with dual Nano SIM slots and a dedicated MicroSD card slot. Booting inside is Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 out of the box. Notably, it has an interim version of OS with full version offering option to uninstall system apps will be available via OTA update.
With dimensions of 160.46 x 74.5 x 8.3 mm, the Redmi Note 10S weighs 178.8 grams. The smartphone packs in 6.43-inch AMOLED display offering 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 60Hz refresh rate, 120Hz touch sampling rate, up to 1100nits brightness, 100% DCI-P3 colours and multi-touch support. For scratch resistance, Redmi has added Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Coming to other specifications of Redmi Note 10S, it has octa-core (2.05GHz A76 x 2 + 2GHz A55 x 6) MediaTek Helio G95 processor with ARM Mali-G76 3EEMC4 GPU clocked at 900MHz. The smartphone comes with 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and has options of 64GB / 128GB UFS 2.2 storage space. It has MicroSD card support up to 512GB.
The display on Redmi Note 10S has 3.54mm punch hole housing a 13MP front camera with F/2.45 Aperture. At the back side are quadruple cameras making up of 64MP (main, F/1.79, 07um) + 8mp (118-degree ultra-wide) + 2MP (depth, F/2.4) + 2MP (macro, F/2.4) cameras and LED Flash.
For fueling, the Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 10s feature a 5000mAh (typical) battery capacity supporting 33W fast charging. According to company claims, it can go from 0 to 54% in 30 minutes and 100% in just 78 minutes.
Xiaomi has also included side mounted fingerprint sensor for authentication. It has stereo speakers (with Hi-Res audio) and Z-axis linear motor inside. For connectivity, there is support for Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and 3.5mm audio jack.
