Xiaomi has just announced its new flagship smartphone called Mi 10 Ultra. It was announced in China at Xiaomi’s 10-year anniversary. Equipped with Dual Nano SIM slots, the smartphone houses an in-display fingerprint sensor and infrared sensor. It has measurements of 162.38 x 75.04 x 9.45 mm and weighs 221.8 grams.
The mobile boots on Android 10 with MIUI 12. At back back side is 3D glass back which has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. At the front side is a 6.67-inch AMOLED HDR10+ display with 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The screen offers 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution at 19.5:9 aspect ratio, delivers 1120nits (HBM) / 800nits (typ) brightness, DCI-P3 color gamut and 5000000:1 (min) contrast ratio. The display has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection as well.
Under the hood is octa-core Snapdragon 865 mobile platform with Adreno 650 GPU. It has Snapdragon X55 modem, thanks to which 5G is supported. To keep thermals in check, it has LiquidCooling 2.0 vapor chamber, Graphene and 6-stack graphite layer. The smartphone comes in options of 8GB LPDDR5 RAM with 128GB / 256GB UFS 3.1 storage space, 12GB LPDDR5 RAM with 256GB UFS 3.1 storage space and 16GB LPDDR5 RAM with 512GB UFS 3.1 storage space.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra features in 4500mAh battery and supports 120W fast charging (wired, Quick Charge 5 / PD 3.0). Statistically speaking, it can charge up to 41% in just 5 minutes and 100% in just about 23 minutes. The smartphone also supports 50W wireless fast charging which charges from 0% to 100% in just 40 minutes. There is 10W reverse charging support as well.
The Mi 10 Ultra specs also include 20MP front camera. At the back side is a quad camera setup with LED Flash. It includes 48MP main with 1/1.32-inch OV48C sensor, F/1.85 Aperture, 1.2um pixel size, 8P lens and OIS support. Its has secondary 48MP Periscope telephoto lens with Sony IMX586 sensor, F/4.1 Aperture, supports OIS, 10X optical zoom and 120X digital zoom. There is a third 20MP 128-degree ultra-wide-angle camera with F/2.2 Aperture. Fourth camera is a 12MP shooter with 1/2.6-inch 2PD sensor, 1.4um pixel size, 2x zoom and take portrait shots. The camera combo also supports 8K at 24fps, 4K at 60fps and 1080p at 960fps.
In terms of connectivity, there is support for 5G (SA/NSA), Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), MUI-MIMO, Bluetooth V5.1, USB Type-C, GPS(L1+L5)/GLONASS/Galileo/Beiodu and NFC. For audio, there are stereo speakers with Hi-Res audio and USB Type-C audio.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra color options include Obsidian Black and Mercury Silver shades. There is a Mi 10 Ultra Transparent Edition as well. The cell phone will be up for order starting today while its selling in China is slated from August 16th.
