Xiaomi has officially launched its latest Mi 11 Lite 4G and Mi Lite 5G smartphone models in China. Both of these have similar specifications with only noticeable difference being their weight, front camera and Chipset.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 4G and 5G models both measure 160.53 x 75.72 x 6.81 mm and feature dual SIM support. The 4G model weighs about 157 grams while the 5G variant has weight of 159 grams. These are powered by Android 11 with MIUI 12 on top. They have side mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.
The Xiaomi MI 11 Lite specs include 6.55-inch AMOLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate and multi-touch support. Its 4G model has HDR10 and houses Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection while the 5G model of Mi 11 Lite has HDR10+ support and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 on top.
The Mi 11 Lite 4G houses octa-core Snapdragon 732G Mobile Platform with Adreno 618 GPU. It has 16MP front facing camera. The Mi 11 Lite 5G feature octa-core Snapdragon 780G Mobile Platform with Adreno 642 GPU and a 20MP front facing camera. These have Liquid cooling technology to keep tabs on thermals.
The smartphone has options of 6GB / 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB / 128GB storage space. There is MicroSD card slot for further expansion as well. Regardless of the variant, the handset includes 4250mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
As far has rear cameras go, both 5G and 4G models of Mi 11 Lite have triple rear cameras which include 64MP (main, F/1.79) + 8MP (119-degree ultra-wide, F/2.2) + 5MP (telemacro, F/2.4) cameras with LED Flash. For audio, Xiaomi has included Stereo speakers with Hi-Res audio and USB Type-C support.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (ax in 5G), Dual Band (2.4/5GHz) Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V5.1 (4G) / V5.2 (5G), USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and NFC.
The Mi 11 Lite 4G color options are Boba Black, Bubblegum Blue and Peach Pink shades. It will roll out in Europe soon. The Mi 11 Lite 5G color options for global markets include Truffle Black, Mint Green and Citrus Yellow paint jobs. Its Chinese model will come in Sweet Lychee, Cherry Pink and Cool Blue shades. The 5G model is already up for order in China and will go on sale from April 16th.
