Xiaomi Mi 5C with 4G VoLTE, 5.15-inch FHD display, Surge S1 SoC announced

Xiaomi has just announced its latest smartphone called Mi 5C. It has fingerprint sensor embedded on home button.
The mobile measures 144.38 x 69.68 x 7.09 mm and weighs 136 grams. It has Dual Nano SIM slots and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS with MIUI 8 (Upgradable to Android 7.1 Nougat OS). It has uni-body metal design
The Xiaomi Mi 5C specs include 5.15-inch curved glass display from JDI and boast 1.6mm ultra narrow bezels. The screen offers 94.4% NTSC color gamut, 1500:1 contrast ratio, 550 nits brightness and supports multi-touch.
It is powered by an octa-core (Quad 2.2GHz A53 + Quad 1.4GHz A53) Xiaomi Surge S1 64-bit processor with quad-core Mali-T860 GPU. It has 3GB LPDDR3 RAM and 64GB eMMC 5.0 storage space.
Xiaomi-Mi-5c-Black-image-01The Mi 5c features an 8MP front camera with F/2.0 Aperture and 27mm wide angle lens. On the back side is a 12MP primary camera with LED Flash, F/2.2 Aperture, 1.25 micron pixel size, 6P lens and 27mm wide-angle lens. It can record 1080p videos as well.
The smartphone is fueled by 2860 mAh (typical) / 2810 mAH (minimum) battery. It offers 9V/2A fast charging as well. The battery is claimed to offer a full day’s worth of battery life.
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.1, USB Type-C, GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc. It has Infrared sensor as well.
The Xiaomi Mi 5C is priced at 1499 Yuan (US$ 218). It will go on sale in China from March 3, 2017. It comes in Black, Gold and Rose Gold color options.
