Xiaomi Mi 5X with 12MP dual rear cameras announced

Xiaomi has just announced its latest X Series smartphone called Mi 5X. It was unveiled at an event in china.
The device runs on MIUI 8 which is based on Android 7.1 Nougat OS. Company has also promised an upgrade to MIUI 9 in near future.
The cell phone has dimensions of 155.4 x 75.8 x 7.3 mm and weighs about 165 grams. It has round edges and sports uni-body metal design. there is an anti-fingerprint coating as well along with a fingerprint sensor on the back.
The Xiaomi Mi 5X Specs include 5.5-Inch LTPS display with 2.5D curved glass. It has 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, 450nits brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio and supports multi-touch.
Internal hardware makes up of 2GHz octa-core 14nm Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU (650MHz). It has 4GB RAM. 64GB eMMC 5.0 storage and allows further expansion up to 128GB using MicroSD card.
It also include Infrared sensor and dedicated amplifier for optimum audio. It is powered by 3080 mAh (typical) / 3000 mAh (minimum) battery. There are Hybrid Dual SIM slots (Micro + Nano / MicroSD) and supports 4G VoLTE.
The Xiaomi Mi 5X features in two rear cameras with dual-tone LED flash. First is a 12MP shooter wit F/2.2 Aperture, 1.25μm pixel size and wide-angle-lens. Second rear camera is of 12MP and sports telephoto lens, F/2.6 Aperture, 1.0μm pixel size and supports PDAF. On the front side is 5MP shooter for selfies.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4GHz / 5GHz), Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/GLONASS, USB Type-C and 3.5mm Audio Jack.
The Xiaomi Mi 5X price is set at 1499 Yuan (US$ 222 / Rs. 14,290 approx.) It comes in Gold, Rose Gold and Black colors. The smartphone will be available in China from August 1, 2017.
