Xiaomi has just announced its latest midrange smartphone called Mi 8 Lite (Youth Edition). It has rear facing fingerprint sensor and glass back with gradiant finishing.
The phone dimensions goes at 156.4×75.8×7.5mm with total weight of 169 grams. Its Hybrid dual nano SIM slots supports dual 4G VoLTE. The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with MIUI in top.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite (Youth Edition) specs imclude 62 6-inch 2.5D curved glass display with 2280 x 1080 pixels resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio and multiple touch support.
At its core is an octa core (Quad 2.2GHz Kryo 260 + Quad 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPUs) 14nm Snapdragon 660 Mobile Platform with Adreno 512 GPU. It has 4GB / 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB / 128GB storage options. It also allows further expansion up to 256GB using MicroSD card.
The Mi 8 Lite Youth Edition features in 24MP front-facing camera with Sony IMX576 sensor. At the back side is 12MP primary rear camera with LED flash, Sony IMX363 sensor, 1.4μm pixel size and f/1.9 aperture. There is a secondary 5MP rear camera as well.
A 3350mAh (typical) / 3250mAh (minimum) battery powers the hardware. It also supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi hotspot, Dual band (2.4GHz / 5GHz) 2×2 MIMO , Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C etc.

The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite comes in Aurora Blue, Sunset Gold and Midnight Black colors. The handset will be up for order starting today and will go on sale from September 25th.
