Xiaomi has officially announced its latest smartphone in China called MI 9. It comes with dual SIM slots and runs on Android 9.0 Pie with MIUI 10 on top.
The phone features in a 6.39-inch multi-touch Super AMOLED Display with 2280 x 1080 pixels resolution, 19:9 Aspect ratio, 103.8% NTSC Color gamut, 600nits brightness and 60000:1 contrast ratio. The mobile boasts an astonishing 90.7% screen-to-body ratio (thanks to its 3.6mm small chin) and has Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection on top.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 packs in an optical in-display fingerprint sensor which is equivalent to 5μm macro camera. There is a 3300 mAh battery which supports 27W fast charging and 20W wireless fast charging (worlds first).
Under the hood is an octa-core(2.84GHz Kryo 485 x 1 + 2.42GHz Kryo 485 x 3 + 1.8GHz Kryo 485 x 4)  Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform with Adreno 640 GPU. It comes in options of  6GB / 8GB RAM with 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. There is a special Xiaomi Mi 9 Transparent Edition with 12GB RAM with 256GB storage space.
The Xiaomi Mi9 features in 20MP front facing camera for selfies. At the back side is 48MP primary rear camera with LED Flash, 1/2.0-inch Sony IMX586 sensor, 0.8um pixels, F/1.75 Aperture, CAF, PDAF and Laser AF. There is a secondary 12MP rear camera with 1/3.6-inch Samsung S5K3M5 sensor, Telephoto lens and F/2.2 Aperture. Third rear camera is of 16MP and includes 1/1.3-inch Sony IMX481 sensor with 11 7-degree wide angle lens, 6P lens, 1.0um pixel size and 4cm macro.
Connectivity options like Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 820.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual band (2.4/5GHz) 2×2 MU–MIMO, Bluetooth V5.0, Dual Frequency (L1+L5) GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, USB Type-C and NFC.

• Mi 9 Transparent Limited Edition with 12GB RAM + 256GB storage: 3999 yuan (US$ 594 / Rs. 42,300 approx.)

The phone will go on sale in China from February 26th.
