Xiaomi Mi 9T with SD730 announced

Xiaomi has introduced Mi 9T smartphone in Europe. It is a rebranded version of Redmi K20 which was introduced last month.

It has Dual Nano SIM slots and supports Dual 4G VoLTE. The handset runs on Android 9.0 Pie with MIUI 10 on top. There is an in a in-display fingerprint sensor for fast unlocking.

The Xiaomi Mi 9T specifications include 6.39-inch multi-touch AMOLED display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 600nits (HMB) / 430nits (Typical) brightness and 103.8% NTSC color gamut. There is a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top

The smart phone features in an octa-core (2.2GHz x 2 + 1.8GHz x 6) Snapdragon 730 Mobile Platform with Adreno 618 GPU. It has 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB / 128GB UFS 2.1 storage options.

For cameras, it has 48MP (1/2″ Sony IMX586 sensor, F/1.75, 0.8um, 6P) + 8MP (Telephoto, 1/4″ sensor size, F/2.4, 1.12um) + 13MP (124.8-degree wide angle, 1/3″ sensor size, F/2.4, 1.12um) triple rear camera setup along with dual LED flash. For selfies, it has 20MP front camera with F/2.2 Aperture and 0.8um pixel size.

The Xiaomi Mi 9T features in 4000mAh (3900mAh minimum) battery and supports 18W fast charging. Connectivity options like Wi-FI 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, NFC, GPS (Dual Band L1+L2)/GLONASS and 3.5mm Audio Jack. It has Hi-Fi audio chip as well.

The Xiaomi Mi 9T 64GB variant costs €329 (US$ 372 / Rs. 25,820 approx.) (Discount price is €299 for first 24 hours) while the Mi 9T 128GB variant price is €369 (US$ 417 / Rs. 28,960 approx.). The 64GB model will start selling in Spain from June 17 while the 128GB / Flame Red color variants will sell later on. Mi 9T color options include Carbon Black, Glacier Blue and Flame Red shades.
