Xiaomi Mi AI Speaker with voice assistant goes official

Xiaomi has officially announced its new Mi AI Speaker along with Mi 5X Smartphone. On the top of speaker are Audio Controls like previous / next / play / pause etc. There is a light ring as well that changes color.
The Mi AI Speaker is a 2.25-inch speaker with passive sub-woofer and 6 microphones (Omnidirectional) that senses external noises and cancels out echos. It is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 64-bit processor, has 256MB RAM and 256MB Flash memory.
I offers Frequency response range of 60Hz – 15000Hz (-6dB) and speaker sensitivity of 82dB. It has 40hm rated Impedance as well. It also supports Dual Band Wi-Fi, DLNA and Bluetooth V4.1 with A2DP.
The Xiaomi MI AI Speaker features in Voice Assistant from MI Lab. It not only helps you in day-to-day tasks but also helps keds learn stuff like ancient poetry, sound of animals, encyclopedia stuff and much more. Apart from that, you can also use it to control smart devices.
Xiaomi also emphasized on the quality of sound output. The speaker can also play live radio, audio books, children stories and of course, music as well.
The Xiaomi Mi AI Speaker carries price tag of 299 Yuan (US$ 44 / Rs. 2850 approx.) and comes in White color. It will be available for beta testing in China from August.
