Xiaomi’s MIJIA brand has announced its latest smart band called Mi Band 4. Along with it company also introduced Mi Band 4 Avengers Edition which has custom dials and bands resembling to Captain America, Avengers and Iron Man.
The Mi Band 4 comes with Microphone and dedicated voice assistant button. The smart band weighs 22.1 Grams (22.2 Grams for NFC variant). It is also 5ATM rated for water resistance up to 50 Meters.
The device packs in 0.95-inch AMOLED display (24-bit color) with 120 x 240 pixels resolution and 400nits brightness. There is a 2.5D scratch resistance glass that offers additional durability.
Statistically speaking, the Mi Band 4’s display is 39.9% bigger than its predecessor. It can display more characters and comes with about 60 color themes.
The smart band features in PPG Heart Rate sensor and can monitor heart beats during fitness regimes. The band can also track sleep and send out sedentary reminders.
The band shows up time, heart rate, weather, notifications, steps taken, notifications and call details. It has array of sensors like Tri-Axis Accelerometer and Tri-Axis Gyro along with Capacitive Wear Monitoring sensors.
The Xiaomi Mi Band 4 houses 135 mAh (125mAh in NFC model) Li-ion Polymer battery which offers up to 20 days of usage (15 days for NFC variant). It has Bluetooth V5.0 LE which helps connect with smartphones.
The Xiaomi Mi Band 4 price is 169 Yuan (US$ 24 / Rs. 1696 approx.) and comes in Black, Brown, Blue, Pink and Orange colors. It will go on sale in China from June 16th.
The Mi Band 4 NFC variant costs 2299 Yuan (US$ 33 / Rs. 2300 approx.). The Mi Band 4 Avengers Limited Edition price-tag is 349 Yuan (US$ 50 / Rs. 3500 approx.).
