Xiaomi Mi Band HRX Edition smart band launched in India

Xiaomi, in collaboration with HRX by Hrithik Roshan, has launched Mi Band HRX Edition in India. It is durable and sports IP67 rating, making it  resistant against water splashes, dust, sweat, cosmetics etc.
It has 0.42-inch OLED display which has scratch resistant glass and anti-fingerprint UV coating. It not only shows time or steps but also delivers notifications when connected with smartphone.
The Mi Band HRX Edition features in an improved pedometer algorithm. It can accurately monitor activities, filters out unnecessary movements and detects exercise. It can also send idle alerts when you are sitting still for long periods of time.
One can also sync this HRX Edition band with Mi Fit app to track distance covered or calories burnt in real time. It has sleep tracking functionality as well.
The smartband carries your unique identity. It can automatically unlock smartphone instantly when you bring the band in close proximity. This eliminates the need of pass-codes or fingerprints.
The Mi Band HRX Edition is claimed to offer up to 23 days of battery life. This is due to its high-density Lithium-Polymer battery. The band weighs just 7 grams and uses 2nd Gen Bluetooth 4.0 LE chipset to connect.
The Xiaomi Mi Band HRX Limited Edition is priced at Rs. 1,299 and comes in Black color (with Blue / Black bands). Company will also introduce Orange and Green bands soon. You can buy it at Mi.com and Mi Home stores starting September 18. Flipkart will get it on September 20th. Preview sale will held at Curefit and cult as well.
