Xiaomi MI Box 4K Android TV box launched in US for $69

Xiaomi has launched its latest 4K box powered by Android TV in United States called Mi Box. It runs on Android TV 6.0 OS and includes Google Play, YouTube and other applications.
The Mi Box can play 4K content at 60FPS. It also supports VP9 Profile-2 up to 4K x 2K at 60fps, H.265 HEVC MP-10 at L5.1, up to 4K x 2K at 60fps, H.264 AVC HPat L5.1, up to 4K x 2K at 30fps, H.264 MVC, up to 1080P at 60fps etc.
The device is powered by quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 Processor and includes Mali 450 GPU as well. It has 2GB DDR3 RAM and 8GB eMC flash storage. It also supports Dolby Digital Plus and DTS Surround sound.

The Xiaomi Mi Box comes with Bluetooth Voice remote (powered by 2 AAA batteries) and has optional Mi Game Controller as well. It has support for Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz) and Bluetooth V4.0.
This 4K box also sports one HDMI 2.0a (HDCP 2.2), one USB 2.0 and one SPDIF Out / 3.5mm Audio jack ports.
The Xiaomi Mi Box is priced at $69 and comes in black colours. It will be available at Wallmart stores later this week. It comes bundled with offers from Sling TV, Pandora, VUDU etc. worth $76. Company did not reveal details about global release date of Mi Box.
