Xiaomi Mi Electric Scooter announced, folding design, dual brake system, more

Xiaomi sub-brand MIJIA has introduced its new Mi Electric scooter in China. It has portable design which allows one to fold in just 3 seconds with a single press of a button.
The Mi Electric scooter is made from aircraft-grade aluminum materials. It has dual front and rear mechanical disc brakes with e-ABC anti-lock system on the front wheel, that ensures efficient braking response.
It is equipped with 1.1W LED front light that that illuminates brightness up to 6 meters. On the back side is a bright red warning light. Moreover, it has 4 LED power indicators as well.
The Mi Electric scooter from MIJIA sports 8.5-Inch pneumatic tires (front and rear) that provides shock absorption and stability. It can go at maximum  speeds of up to 25 KM / hour.
It also houses 280Wh LG18650 Lithium batteries that provides 30KM worth of battery life at 75KG weight load. Moreover, it has battery management system as well. It monitors health status of each battery cells in real time.
The Features of Mi Electric scooter does not end here. It has energy recover system which can be accessed by pressing brake handle or releasing throttle. It improves battery life by converting Kinetic energy into electricity.
This smart electric scooter can also be paired with smartphone Application using Bluetooth. It can track remaining battery life, riding speeds, cycling habits etc.
It also comes with fixed cruise function and intelligent cycling mode that reduces drivers handling of scooter. Xiaomi has used an unique algorithm that accesses the speed sensor signal and sets speed accordingly.
The Xiaomi Mi Electric Scooter is priced at 1999 Yuan (US$ 289). It comes in White and Black color options and will go on sale from December 15th, 2016.
