Xiaomi has announced Mi Home Theater along with Mi WiFi Speaker. It runs on MIUI TV with PatchWall AI, which was also seen in recently announced Mi Box 3s and Mi Box 3c set-top boxes.
The Mi Home Theater specs include 1.8GHz quad-core amlogic 8726M3 processor with Mali-T830 MP2 (750MHz) GPU. It has 2GB DDR3 RAM and 8GB eMMC 5.0 storage ROM.
The device has 2.5-Inch bass and two tweeters in soundbar, a 6.5-inch subwoofer and two 2.25-inch Wireless rear sound speakers with wireless transceiver for 360-degre sound.
The Mi Home Theater features three HDMI 2.0a ports, one USB 3.0, one USB 2.0, 3.5mm Audio Jack and one Ethernet port. It also supports Dolby DTS audio decoding and Dolby sound processing technology.
It has built-in Mi-Player that supports H.265 4K2K at 60 frames / sec; H.264 4K2K at 30 frames / sec; MPEG1 / 2 / 4, VP8, REAL7.8.9, MJPEG up to 1080P at 30 frames / sec. Moreover, the device also allows Video Playback over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
The Xiaomi Mi Home Theater is priced at 1999 Yuan ($289 approx.) and will go on sale in December 2016.
