Xiaomi Mi Laser Projector with 150-inch projection announced

Xiaomi has announced its latest Mi Laser Projector at its Mi Ecosystem Event. It has been developed over two years of extensive research and development.
It can projected on a 150-inch screen, delivering 3000:1 native contrast and 5000 lumens brightness. The body of projector is manufactured by an Optical Technology company called Yorkey.
The Mi Laser Projector uses optoelectronic technology and DLP imaging chip from APPTRONICS and Texas Instruments. It has ALPD 3.0 which is world’s leading source of laser technology.
The projector is said to offer 25,000 hours of life which should last you about 34 years on two hours of daily usage.
The Mi Laser Projector features in 0.233:1 + large depth short focus lens design, allowing one to project from a distance of just 50cms.
It’s array of features does not end here. It has four built-in high power speakers that support Dolby Digital and DTS technologies. Moreover, it comes with Mi TV, allowing users to watch latest movies and TV episodes.
Connectivity wise, it has one Ethernet port, one S/PDIF, one AV input, one Audio output, one USB 3.0 and three HDMI ports.
The Xiaomi Mi Laser projector will cost you 9999 Yuan that converts to US$ 1470 or INR 95,000. It will be available in China from July 4, 2017 via its crown funding platform.
