Xiaomi Mi Max 2 lands in Malaysia

Just last month, Xiaomi had launched Mi Max 2 in China. Now, the smartphone has been made available in Malaysia via retailer DirectD.
The Malaysian retailer has listed 64GB variant of Mi Max 2. Other specs include 6.44-inch 1080p display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4, an Octa-core Snapdragon 625 MSM8953 SoC and Adreno 506 GPU. It has 4GB RAM.
The handset is 7.6 mm thick, weighs 211 grams and houses a powerful 5300 mAh non removable battery. There is a rear mounted fingerprint sensor for added security.
The Mi Max 2 Specs include 5MP selfie camera with F/2.0 Aperture and 12MP rear shooter with F/2.2 Aperture, 1/2.9-inch sensor size, 1.25 micron pixels, PDAF, touch focus, HDR, Panorama, dual-tone LED flash and 2160P video recording at 30fps.
Xiaomi-Mi-Max-2-img-1The mobile houses Hybrid Dual SIm slots of which SIM 1 doubles for microSD card. It also supports 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, Dual Band, Bluetooth V4.2, GPS/A-GPS/GLONASS/BDS, NFC, IR port, USB Type-C 1.0 reversible etc.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is priced at RM 1499 that converts to roughly $350. It is available in Gold color in Malaysia.
