Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 bezel-less smartphone to be announced on September 11

Xiaomi has finally revealed that it will announce MI MIX 2, its latest bezel-less smartphone on September 11. Company has already scheduled an event in China for the announcement.
The handset will be designed by Philippe Stark, a French designer who also designed its predecessor, the Xiaomi MI MIX. He has also released a concept video showcasing phone’s slim bezels.
The MI MIX 2 is said to have 93% screen-to-body ratio and company is calling the screen as 2.0 bezel-less display. Unlike its predecessor, the handset is claimed to feature curved AMOLED display and comes with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under it.
The MI MIX came in metal and ceramic builds, so we can expect similar quality with MIX 2. If speculations are to be believed, the handset may come with Receiver Sound Technology (AAC Actuator).
In terms of specifications, the second iteration is rumored to feature 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 835 SoC with 6GB RAM. Android 7.0 Nougat based MIUI 9 is also expected inside.
The Xiaomi MI MIX 2 launch event will be held at Beijing University of Technology Gymnasium on September 11, 2017. Official details will be revealed then.
