Xiaomi Mi Note 2 with 4G VoLTE, 5.7-Inch dual-curved display, Snapdragon 821, 6GB RAM announced

Xiaomi has finally put an end to leaks and rumors has officially announced Mi Note 2 phablet phone. Company has just announced the phone at a dedicated even held in Beijing, China.
The phone packs in 5.7-Inch 3D flexible OLED display with dual curved edges and  glass finish. It has 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, 77.2% screen-to-body ratio, 110% NTSC gamut and supports multi-touch.
The Mi Note 2 Specs include 2.35GHz quad-core Snapdragon 821 14nm processor with Adreno 530 GPU. It has 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB LPDDR4 RAM with 128GB storage.  The battery inside is of 4070 mAh  and supports Quick Charge 3.0.

The handset is equipped with 8MP selfie snapper, equipped with Sony IMX268 sensor and F/2.0 Aperture. On the back side is 22.56MP main camera (not 23MP) that comes with Sony IMX318 Sensor, F/2.0 Aperture, PDAF, EIS (not OIS) and allows 4K recording as well.
The smartphone wont disappoint audio enthusiasts as the device is equipped with Qualcomm’s ‘Aqstic’ audio DAC. It supports 192kHz / 24-bit playback.  The cellphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with MIUI 8. It is expected to get the Nougat based MIUI 9 soon.

The Mi Note 2 Features dual SIM slots and supports 4G VoLTE. It has NFC that allows mobile payments. Apart from that, It also supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, GPS etc.

The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is priced at 2799 Yuan ($413) for 4GB RAM / 64GB storage variant. The Premium version with 6GB RAM / 128GB storage is priced higher at 3299 Yuan (US$ 487). It has a special global version with 4G+ and 37 LTE band support and costs about 3499 Yuan ($516). The handset comes in Glacier Silver and Piano Black colours and will be available in two or three weeks.
