Weibo, Twitter of China, has been a source of various leaks lately. Now, specifications, price and release dates of Xiaomi Redmi 4 and Mi Note 2 have been leaked there.
Xiaomi Redmi 4 was recently spotted at Geekbench. The leaked specs info goes at par with the benchmark listing, putting weight on authenticity of the leaks. The smartphone managed to score 929 points on single core and 4751 points on mult-core.
The Redmi 4 specs are somewhat in mid-range category. The leaks suggests a 5-Inch IPS LCD display with metal CnC body. It is said to get processing power from Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage ROM. The phone will be powered by 4100 mAh battery and will support quick-charging as well.
Leaked Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Specifications include 5.7-Inch IPS LCD Display with 1080p resolution. It should have Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 Octa-Core processor with 4GB / 6GB RAM and 64GB / 128GB storage space. It will have CnC metal body with front facing fingerprint sensor and 3600 mAh battery (quick charge) under the hood.
According to the leaked price, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 with 4GB RAM / 64GB storage is expected to carry price-tag of 2499 Yuan (US$ 375 / €337). The 6GB RAM / 128GB storage model will be priced slightly higher at 2799 Yuan (US$420 / €378). On the other hand, Xiaomi Redmi 4 price will be slated at 699 Yuan (US$ 105). Official launch date of both the smartphones is said to be August 25, 2016.
