Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Special Edition with 6GB RAM goes official

Xiaomi launched its Mi Note 2 smartphone back in October 2016. Now, company has introduced Mi Note 2 Special Edition smartphone in China.
The variant comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage space. Other specifications are more or less the same. They include 5.7-inch display with 1080p resolution, 100000:1 contrast ratio and 110% NTSC color gamut.
Under the hood is 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 821 processor  with Adreno 530 GPU. It is powered by 4070 mAh (4000 mAh minimum) battery and supports Quick Charge 3.0 as well. The handset runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with MIUI 8.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Special Edition specs also include 8MP auto focus selfie camera with Sony IMX268 sensor, 5P lens, F/2.0 Aperture, and 76-degree FOV lens. On the back side is a single 22.56MP camera with Sony IMX318 Sensor, 6P Lens, F/2.0 Aperture, 80-degree FOV Lens dual tone LED Flash. It supports PDAF, EIS and 4K Video recording.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Special Edition with 6GB RAM image 1The smartphone has dimensions of 156.2 x 77.3 x 7.6 mm and weighs about 166 grams. It has 3D Glass body and houses Dual Nano SIM slots. It also comes with Qualcomm’s ‘Aqstic’ audio DAC that supports 192kHz / 24-bit playback.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Special Edition is priced at 2899 Yuan which converts to about US$ 425. It comes in Black color option.
