Xiaomi’s CEO, Lei Jun has announced that company’s upcoming smartphone, the Mi Note 2 is already in mass production.
It will be offered in two variants two variants. The premium one will have dual-edge screen (LG made) with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. The second model will have a 5.15-Inch display without curved edges and it will have 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has been leaked many times. Its photos and renders have also surfaced in the past. Both the models kicks in a quad-core Snapdragon 821 chipset with Adreno 530 GPU inside. The flat screen variant will have 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage while the curved-edge screen model of Mi Note 2 is expected with 6GB RAM and 256GB ROM.
The premium variant is also expected to have dual 12MP camera setup on the back. The other one comes with single camera with OIS capabilities. The Mi Note 2 is expected to go official sometime in mid-November.
