Xiaomi Mi Note 3 with 5.5-inch display, Snapdragon 660 SoC announced

Xiaomi along with Mi Mix 2 and Mi Notebook Pro has also announced Mi Note 3. The devices were announced at an event in China.
Basically, the Mi Note 3 is just a larger variant of Mi 6. It has 4-sided curved glass body that gives a mirror like effect. It has an aluminum frame with matte gold accentuates (blue body). It is super slim, featuring a 4-sided curved body. The phone sports super narrow side bezels that further enhances the beauty.
The Mi Note 3 specs include a 3500 mAh (3400 mAh minimum) battery that should last you thought out a day. It also supports Qualcomm Quick charge 3.0 fast charging.

The phone features in an octa-core (2.2GHz Kyro 260 x 4 + 1.8GHz Kyro 260 x 4) Snapdragon 660 Mobile Platform with Adreno 512 GPU. It has 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and comes in 64GB / 128GB eMMC 5.1 storage.
The handset runs on Android 7.1 Nougat OS with MIUI 9. It has Dual Nano (nano + nano) SIM slots, supports 4G LTE and houses fingerprint sensor on home button.
It has 12MP (wide angle) + 12MP (telephoto) dual camera at the back. The former come with 1.25 micron pixels, F/1.8 Aperture, 4-axis OIS and 4K video recording. The second rear camera has 1 micron pixels, 52mm portrait lens and F/2.6 Aperture. On the front side is 16MP selfie camera with 2micron pixel size.
The handset measures 152.6 x 73.95 x 7.6mm and weighs 163 grams. It supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4GHz / 5GHz) 2×2 MU-MIMO, Bluetooth V5.0, NFC and USB Type-C.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 price starts at 2499 Yuan (US$ 285 / Rs. 24,500 approx.) for 6GB RAM / 64GB storage model. The premium 6GB RAM / 128GB ROM variant costs 2899 (US$ 445 / Rs. 28,450 approx.). The handset comes in Black and Blue Colors. The Blue colored model costs 2999 Yuan (US$ 460 / Rs. 29,400 approx.).
