Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 with 7.9-inch display goes official

Xiaomi has silently announced its latest tablet called Mi Pad 3. It has been listed on company’s official website.
The Tablet itself is identical to its predecessor, sporting same uni-body metal design. It has dimensions of 200.4 x 132.6 x 7 mm and weighs about 328 grams.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 features in 7.9-inch retina display with 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution and 326ppi pixel density. The screen also supports color enhancements, color temperature adjustments, black and white mode and eye protection mode as well.
The Chinese company has managed in MediaTek MT8176 processor which consists of two 2.1GHz Cortex-A72 cores and four 1.7GHz Cortex-A53 cores. IT has IMG GX6250 Graphics processor as well, that will ensure optimum gaming performance.
Other specifications of Mi Pad 3 include 4GB LPDDR3 dual channel RAM and 64GB of eMMC 5.0 storage. It has 6400 mAh (min) / 6600 mAh (typ) battery which supports 5V/2A fast charging.
This is an Android Tablet with MIUI8 on top. It is equipped with 13MP primary snapper on the back with F/2.2 Aperture and supports 1080p video recording. On the front side is a 5MP selfie shooter with F/2.0 Aperture.
Connectivity wise, it handles Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Display, Bluetooth V4.1, USB Type-C port and comes with 3.5mm Audio Jack as well.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 is priced at 1499 Yuan (US$ 220 approx.) and comes in Champagne Gold color options. Availability details are not known yet.
