Xiaomi has officially launched its new 55-inch Mi QLED TV in India. The Smart TV is powered by Android TV 10 and includes Patchwall AI.
The Mi QLED TV 4K 55-inch model offers 3840 x 2160 pixels 4K resolution at 5ms response time and includes Auto Low latency mode as well. The screen delivers 100% NTSC color gamut, 95% DCI-P3 colors and supports Dolby Vision, HDR 10+ and HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma). Moreover, it also boasts 178-degree viewing angles and 96% screen-to-body ratio.
Its display has Quantum Dot nanocrystals and uses quantum dot technology for pure and vibrant colors. The Mi QLED TV also uses Reality Flow technology for blur-free rendering of high-speed visuals.
Talking about materials, The Mi QLED TV has aluminum alloy frame with sandblast coating while the back side has carbon finishing. Bundled inside is a 30W 6 speaker system which consists of four full range drivers and two tweeters. These deliver frequency range of 60 – 20 KHz and supports DTS-HD, Dolby Audio.
The 55″ Mi QLED TV is powered by quad-core MediaTek MT6911 processor with Mali-G52 MP2 GPU. It has 2GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage space. This smart TV support several formats like H.265, H.264, H.263, AV1, VP8, VP9, MPEG1/2 etc.
In terms of connectivity and ports, it has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz) (2×2 MIMO), Bluetooth V5.0, HDMI 2.1 (x3), USB, S/PDIF and Ethernet. There is one HDMI 2.1 with ARC which delivers higher bandwidth audio, ALLM and 5ms Input Lag at 4K.
The Mi QLED TV 55″ model comes bundled with Mi Remote. It has functions like Mi Quick Mute (double tap volume down), Mi Quick Setting (long press Mi button), Mi Quick Wake (Turn TV in about 5 seconds) and more. The TV also supports Google Assistant and comes with built-in Chromecast functions.
The Mi QLED TV 4K 55″ price in India is Rs. 54,999. It will start selling from December 21st and will be available at Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi Home Stores.
