Xiaomi has just launched its latest smart band in India called Mi Smart Band 5. It has 1.1-inch AMOLED 24-bit color touch screen with 294 x 126 pixels resolution, 450nits max brightness, AF coating and 2.5D scratch resistant glass on top.
The Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 5 features in Photoplethysmography (PPG) / Heart rate sensor for tracking heart beats. It also offers 24-hour sleep tracking. There is feature for PAI health analysis and women’s health tracking.
The Smart band measures 47.2 x 18.5 x 12.4 mm and weighs 11.9 grams. It has 5ATM rating, which makes it water resistant up to 50 meters. It has Bluetooth V5.0 LE for seamless connectivity with smartphones.
The Mi Smart Band 5 shows time, app notifications, calls, heart rate, steps taken, weather, activities etc. It has 11 different sports modes which includes outdoor running, walking, cycling, indoor running, swimming, exercise, indoor cycling, elliptical machine, skipping rope, yoga, rowing machine.
The smartband houses 512KB RAM and 16MB ROM. It has 125mAh battery with magnetic charging. It fully charges in less than 2 hours and offers up to 3 weeks of standby time (Power saving mode)
The Mi Smart Band 5 is priced at Rs. 2499 and comes in Black color (Black, Teal, Purple, Navy Blue and Orange strap options). It will sell at Amazon.in and Mi.com from October 1st (12:00PM). It will also land at Mi Home Stores and other retail stores.
