Xiaomi has officially announced its latest Mi Smart Band 6 at its global launch event. It comes in two models – one with NFC and other without NFC.
The Mi Smart Band 6 has dimensions of 47.4 x 18.6 x 12.7 mm. The NFC model weighs 13 grams and comes with Xiao AI’s voice assistant. The non NFC variant has weight of 12.8 grams and does not include Xiao AI’s voice assistant.
The Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 6 feature a 1.53-inch AMOLED 24-bit color display with touch support. It has 486 x 152 pixels resolution, 326ppi pixel density and delivers ≥450 nits brightness. The screen has Anti Fingerprint coating and 3D scratch-resistant glass on top as well.
The smartband comes with 5ATM water resistant rating (up to 50 meters). It uses Bluetooth V5.0 LE for seamless connectivity with smartphones. The band comes with Photoplethysmography (PPG) / Heart rate sensor for checking heartbeats. It also includes Blood Oxygen sensor for checking SpO2.
The Mi SmartBand 6 offers customizable band faces with over 60 themes. It can show time, notification from apps / calls / messages, weather, activities, steps, heart beats and much more. The band offers PAI health analysis and can track Menstrual cycle for women.
The band offers 30 fitness modes like outdoor running, walking, cycling, indoor running, swimming, exercise, indoor cycling, elliptical machine, skipping rope, yoga, rowing machine, Indoor fitness, Indoor ice skating, HIIT, Core training, Stretching, Stepper, Gymnastics, Pilates, Street dance, Dance, Zumba, Cricket, Bowling, Basketball, Volleyball, Table tennis, Badminton, Boxing and Kickboxing.
It can also automatically track 6 fitness activities like walking, treadmill, elliptical, outdoor cycling and outdoor running. Xiaomi has also included Tri-axis accelerometer, Tri-axis gyro, remote shutter control pressure assessment sensor, breath training and Capacitive wear monitoring sensors.
The Mi Band 6 can also track sleep, breathing quality, fitness and offers sedentary reminders. It has 125mAh battery which is claimed to offer up to 14 days of battery life.
The Mi Smart Band 6 color options include Black with Black / Blue / Yellow / Orange / Green / Pink straps (2 additional colors in Chinese model). It is up for order and will go on sale in China from April 2nd.
