Xiaomi has announce Mi 5S and Mi 5S Plus smartphone today. Along with them, company has also introduced Mi TV 3S 4K Smart TVs.
They are are available in 55-inch and 65-inch sizes. Both have 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution and,, 8ms dynamic response time, 85% NTSC color gamut, 1200:1 contrast ratio and 178-degree viewing angles.
The the Mi TV 3S Smart TV’s house 1.8GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 Amlogic T968 processors with Mali-T830 MP2 (750Mhz) GPU inside. They have 2GB DDR3 dual channel RAM and 8GB of eMMC 5.0 storage space.
They run on Android based MIUI TV. Another thing common amongst them is Dolby Virtual Surround sound, DTS and Bass Boost for optimum audio.
They support H.265 4K at 60 / 30 fps, H.265 1080P at 60 fps, H.263 1080P at 30 fps, MPEG1 / 2/4 DivX4 the VC-1 / WMV3 1080P at 60 fps and REAL 8/9/10 1080P at 30 fps.
The Xiaomi Mi TV 3S 55-Inch model has two 8W speaker, supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.0 LE, Mi Port, one USB 3.0, one USB 2.0, three HDMI 2.0a, AV, and Ethernet port.
The Mi TV 3S 55-Inch variant includes two 2.5-inch Woofer with 2x dome tweeters. It also has Home Theater version with two 5GHz Wireless satellite surround speakers, Wireless transceiver and a SubWoofer. connectivity wise, it includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Dual band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.1 LE, Mi Port, three HDMI 2.0a, one USB 3.0, one USB 2.0, AV and Ethernet.
The Xiaomi Mi TV 3S 55″ price starts at 3499 Yuan (US$ 525) while the MiTV 3S 65″ standard variant costs 4999 Yuan (US$ 749). Both will be available from September 29th. The Home Theater version is priced slightly higher at 5999 Yuan (US$ 899) and will be available in November 2016 in China.
