Xiaomi has launched a new variant of Redmi 3S called the Redmi 3S+. It will be available in India exclusively from offline channels.
The Xiaomi Redmi 3S+ specs include 5-Inch IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It has (1.2GHz Cortex A53 x 4 + 1.5GHz Cortex A53 x 4) octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor with Adreno 505 GPU.
Inside is 2GB LPDDR3 RAM, 32GB storage ROM and allows further expansion up to 128GB using MicroSD card. It has 4000 mAh (4100 mAh typical) battery and fingerprint sensor at the back.
The phone measures 139.3 x 69.6 x 8.5 mm and weighs 144 grams. It has hybrid dual SIM slots (micro + nano / microSD) and supports 4G LTE with VoLTE. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS based MIUI.
The Redmi 3S+ features 13MP primary camera at the back with F/2.0 Aperture, LED Flash, PDAF and 1080p video recording support. On the front is 5MP selfie snapper with F/2.2 Aperture and records 1080p videos as well.
The smartphone also supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.1, GPS + GLONASS, MicroUSB V2.0, IR Sensor, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
The Xiaomi Redmi 3S plus is priced at $142 (INR 9,499). It comes in Silver, Gold and Dark Grey color options. The phone will be available acrosss 7500 retailers in the country, including Poorvika, Sangeetha, BIG C, LOT Mobiles etc.
