Xiaomi Redmi 4A with Snapdragon 425 SoC lands in India

Xiaomi has lunched a new Redmi Series phone in India called Redmi 4A. It was first unveiled in China last year in November.
It is a budget 4G smartphone with 5-Inch 720p display that offers 296ppi pixel density, 72% NTSC color gamut and 1000:1 contrast ratio. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based MIUI 8.
The phone has unibody design with polycarbonate matte finish. It has dimensions of 139.5 x 70.4 x 8.5 mm and weighs 131.5 grams. It has hybrid Dual SIM slots (micro + nano / microSD) and support 4G VoLTE in the country.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4A specs include 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 SoC with Adreno 308 GPU (clocked at 500MHz). It has 2GB RAM, 16GB storage ROM and allows further expansion up to 128GB.
xiaomi-redmi-4a-image-06The cell phone comes with 13MP rear snapper with F/2.2 Aperture, PDAF, LED Flash and 1080p video recording capabilities. On the front side is 5MP selfie camera with F/2.2 Aperture.
It has 3030 mAh (minimum) / 3120 mAh (typical) battery which is non removable. Other features include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wit-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.1, GPS/A-GPS/GLONASS and IR Sensor.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4A is priced at INR 5999 (US$ 92 approx.) and comes in Gold, Rose Gold and Gray color options. You can buy smartphone from Amazon.in and Mi.com from March 23, 2017. It’s Rose Gold color model will be available in the country from April 6th, 2017.
