Xiaomi has officially unveiled its Redmi 6 Series smartphones in India. They Redmi 6, Redmi 6A and Redmi 6 Pro.
The Xiaomi Redmi 6 price starts at Rs. 7999 for 3GB/32GB variant and goes up to Rs. 9499for 4GB/64GB model. It will go on sale on Flipkart and Mi.com starting September 10.
The Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro costs Rs. 10999 for 3GB/32GB variant while the 4GB/64GB model of 6 Pro carries price-tag of Rs. 12999. It comea in red, black, Blue and Gold colors and will will be available online exclusively at Amazon.in.
The Xiaomi Redmi 6A is priced in India at Rs. 5999 and comes in Grey, blue, rose gold and Gold Colors. You can buy phone exclusively at amazon.in.

Xiaomi Redmi 6 Specifications

It has dimensions of 147.5 x 71.5 x 8.3 mm and has weight of 146 grams. It has dual microphones and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo OS with MIUI 9.
The phone features in 5.45-inch 2.5D curved glass display with 1440 x 720 pixels resolution, 18:9 aspect ratio, 1000:1 contrast ratio and multi-touch support.
It has Hybrid Dual SIM slots (nano + nano / microSD) and supports 4G VoLTE. Inside is a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6762 Helio P22 processor with IMG PowerVR GE8320 (650Mhz) GPU.
It comes in option of 3GB RAM with 32BG Storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB internal memory. It also supports further expansion up to 256GB using MicroSD card.
The Redmi 6 specs also include 5MP selfie camera with F/2.2 Aperture. At the back side is 12MP (F/2.2, PDAF, 1.25μm) + 5MP dual cameras with LED Flash.

This is a budget phone with 5.45-inch 2.5D curved glass screen with 1440 x 720 pixels HD+ resolution, 18:9 aspect ratio and 1000:1 contrast ratio.
The smartphone is powered by 2GHz quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 SoC with IMG PowerVR GE-Class GPU. It has 2GB RAM, 16GB storage and allows further expansion using MicroSD card.
The Redmi 6A Specs sheet also include 5MP front camera with F/2.2 Aperture. At the back side is a single 13MP camera with LED Flash, F/2.2 Aperture and PDAF.

The mobile runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with MIUI 10. It has 5.84-nch 2.5D curved glass display with 2280 x 1080 pixels resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio, 84% NTSC color gamut, 1500:1 contrast ratio and 500 nits brightness.
The cell phone features in 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC with Adreno 506 GPU. It comes in options of 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 32GB/64GB storage space. MicroSD card allows further expansion up to 256GB.
Other specifications of Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro include 12MP primary rear camera with LED Flash, Sony IMX486 sensor, F/2.2 Aperture, 1.25µm pixels size and PDAF. There is a secondary 5MP camera with Samsung S5K5E8 sensor, F/2.2 Aperture and 1.12µm pixels. For selfies there is 5MP front shooter.
