Xiaomi has officially announced its Redmi 7 and Redmi 7 Pro smartphones in China. The Redmi 7 was certified by TENAA earlier this month while the Redmi Note 7 Pro went official in India last month.
The Redmi 7 Price stars at 699 Yuan (US$ 104 / Rs. 7150 approx.) for 2GB/16GB model, 799 Yuan (US$ 120 / Rs. 8170 approx.) for 3GB/32GB variant and 999 Yuan (US$ 148 / Rs. 10,220 approx.) for 4GB/64GB model. It comes in Black, Red and Blue colors and will be on sale in China from March 26th.
The Redmi Note 7 Pro costs 1599 Yuan (US$ 238 / Rs. 16,350 approx.) for 6GB/128GB variant and will start selling in China from March 22nd.
Xiaomi Redmi 7
The device measures 158.73 x 75.58 x 8.47 mm and has weight of 180 grams. It has dedicated Dual Nano SIM slots and a microSD card slot. The phone comes with P2i nano coating for splash resistance.
Under the hood is 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 632 mobile platform with Adreno 506 GPU. It has 2GB / 3GB / 4GB RAM with 16GB / 32GB / 64GB storage options. The mobile also allows further expansion up to 512GB.
The Xiaomi Redmi 7 Specifications include 12MP (F/2.2, 1.12um pixels, PDAF) + 2MP dual rear shooters along with LED Flash. There is a rear mounted fingerprint sensor as well. At the front side is an 8MP camera for selfies.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro
The cell phone has dimensions of 159.21 x 75.21 x 8.1 mm and has weight of 186 grams. It has P2i nano coating and includes IR Sensor and Fingerprint sensor. It has hybrid Dual Nano SIM slots and runs on Android 9.0 Pie with MIUI 10.
Inside is a 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 675 Mobile Platform with Adreno 612 GPU. It has 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB ROM which is expandable up to 256GB using MicroSD card. A 4000mAh (typical) / 3900 mAh (Minimum) battery powers the hardware. Quick Charge 4.0 is also supported.
Connectivity wise, it supports Dual 4G VoLTE, WI-Fi 802.11ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, USB Type-C, GPS/GLONASS and 3.5mm Audio Jack.
