We already know that Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is closing in at its launch. An alleged retail box of the smartphone has popped up at weibo, revealing MediaTek Helio X20 SoC inside.
From what we know so far, the mobile should have uni-body design, just like its predecessor. Dual rear camera is a strong possibility however, latest leak shows a new design, suggesting multiple variants.
The retail box notes 5.5-Inch IPS display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, Deca-Core Helio X20 processor with 700MHz Mali-T880 MP4 GPU. Previously it was rumoured to have Octa Core Snapdragon 652 SoC with Adreno 510 GPU (may be its the 2nd model)
The Redmi Note 4 is expected to have 3GB RAM, 32GB / 64GB storage further expandable using MicroSD card. It should have fingerprint sensor and dual SIM slots with 4G LTE support.
We also expect the smartphone to carry Dual rear cameras (13MP) with dual-tone LED flash and PDAF support. On the front should be a 5MP snapper as well.
The leaked Redmi Note 4 retail box has specs saying a 4000 mAh miniumum / 4100 mAh typical battery. Connectivity options like 4G LTE with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.1, GPS/GLONASS, etc.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is expected to go official in China on July 27, 2016. An event is already scheduled for the date.
